Featured Interview “TV Tommy" Ivo (Former NHRA Drag Racing Star)
Known for creating some of the most iconic drag racing cars in NHRA history, former actor and drag racing star, “TV Tommy" Ivo, will be a featured interview on Wind Tunnel this Sunday September 5th. Ivo was one of the first ‘showmen’ in the sport, making a point to entertain drag racing fans all over the country with innovative and crazy looking cars and he even built a glass-encased hauler in which he transported his cars for all to see.
We’ll reminisce with Tommy about his career and get his thoughts on today’s NHRA.
Featured Interview Dennis Varni (Veteran Bonneville Land Speed Racer)
Veteran land speed racer and hot-rodder, Dennis Varni, will also be a featured guest on Wind Tunnel this Sunday. After decades of making land speed passes at the famous salt flats of Bonneville, Varni did something this past week that he had never done before…surpass the 300mph mark…setting a new record in his class!
In his 70’s, Varni has been riding on cloud nine ever since and will be here to share his excitement and love of land speed racing.
