Franchitti calls Power reckless, drivers airborne

The top two finishers in last week's race at Chicagoland Speedway took exception with Will Power's driving. Too aggressive, they said. Dan Wheldon sought him out Friday morning. Dario Franchitti took out his frustrations in media interviews, putting the series leader in the category of "stupid stuff" that happened.

"There are people you can trust and people you absolutely cannot trust," the two-time series champion said. "You learn that pretty quickly."

Power became agitated when told of Franchitti's comments.

"I was racing like all the other maniacs out there," he said. "That's the situation we're in.''

On another topic, all the drivers have spoken of the bumps on this oval. Justin Wilson said the worst is between turn four and the start/finish line. "There was actually air under the tires when I hit it," he said. IndyStar.com
