Chrysler, Volvo launch new recalls

Chrysler Group LLC is recalling 26,397 new vehicles over concerns that power steering fluid could leak and start an engine fire.

The recall covers about 19,000 2010 vehicles — including Chrysler Sebring, Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, Dodge Avenger and Dodge Journey. It also covers 7,300 2011 Dodge Ram light-duty pickup trucks.

Separately, Volvo Cars said it is recalling nearly 10,000 vehicles over concerns that some airbags may not deploy as intended.

The recall covers 9,746 2010-11 S80 and XC70, 2011 XC60 and 2010 V70.

Volvo said there appeared to be "an intermittent fault in the driver's airbag clock spring wiring connector for the supplemental restraint system."
