Sky sponsors Red Bull for Brazil
Red Bull Racing has received one-off sponsorship from Latin American satellite television provider Sky for next weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix, meaning the logos of the high-definition company will be seen on the bargeboards of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel’s cars.
In another single-race deal, the last of which was with convenience store chain 7-Eleven in Singapore, Sky continues its link-up with Red Bull – which began with the Red Bull Racing Brazilian Stock Car team in 2009 – as it boasts 2 million subscribers.
“It’s great that we have signed this deal with Sky, which is recognized globally as an exciting and progressive brand," Team Principal Christian Horner commented.
“Sky entertains via the latest technology and so is an excellent fit with Red Bull Racing, which seeks to do the same. I hope that, together, we produce an inspiring result at the Brazilian Grand Prix."
