Remi Lanteigne joins Jensen Motorsport

Jensen MotorSport is pleased to announce that renowned Canadian race engineer Remi Lanteigne has joined the team as Chief Technical Officer.

Lanteigne (39) has one of the most impressive resumes in North American open-wheel racing with multiple championships and many race wins in series including Indy Lights, Atlantic, Formula BMW, and Star Mazda.

As Chief Technical Officer, Lanteigne will oversee the engineering program for the Jensen MotorSport entry in the 2011 Indy Lights championship. Lanteigne will also continue to identify and develop the next generation of open-wheel stars as they transition for karting to race cars within the Jensen junior driver development program.

Team owner Eric Jensen states, "It is terrific to add the experience and credentials of Remi Lanteigne to our Indy Lights and driver development programs. Remi is a proven winner with more than 15 years of experience in North American open-wheel racing. Remi's presence immediately establishes ours as one of the top Indy Lights programs for the 2011 season and beyond."

Jensen MotorSport plans to enter two cars in the 2011 Indy Lights championship. The team plans to announce our first driver signing on November 12, 2010.

Lanteigne will also manage the Jensen junior driver development program to identify and train young drivers. The list of race winning drivers who have worked with Lanteigne in recent years is very impressive, including 2010 driver Mikael Grenier, 2009 driver Richard Kent, and 2008 drivers Daniel Morad and Alexander Rossi.
