Crafton wins first pole of the season in Texas
Matt Crafton has found his groove late in the 2010 season and it continued Thursday night at Texas Motor Speedway as the driver of the No. 88 Thorsport Chevrolet won his first pole of the 2010 season.
Crafton, who paced final practice, found more speed in qualifying and grabbed the pole with a lap of 180.216 mph. The last time Crafton won the pole was this race last year, he finished second.
Elliott Sadler will start second in his seventh start in the Truck Series this season with a lap of 179.904 mph. This is Sadler's fifth front row start in those seven races.
Kyle Busch, Ron Hornaday and points leader Todd Bodine rounded out the top five.
