Daly tests Indy Lights with Andretti Autosports
Conor Daly spent the day, Wednesday November 10th, at Putnam Park road course behind the wheel of an Andretti Autosport prepared Indy Lights car. "Although it was a late decision", said JF Thorman, Managing Director, Andretti Autosport, "after a mighty impressive 2010 season in Star Mazda we wanted to give him a run in our Lights car as soon as the opportunity presented itself".
Daly completed 225 trouble free miles as he worked through a variety of set ups. "I want to stay active in as many race cars as possible now that the race season is over", said Daly. "Andretti Autosport is an impressive winning team and I want to thank them for this awesome opportunity".
Daly will travel back to Europe in December to attend the Autosport Awards where he will be presented with the 18th annual Gorsline Scholarship by British racing legend, Sir Sterling Moss.
