Tickets on sale for Honda Indy at Mid-Ohio

The IZOD IndyCar Series will help Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course celebrate its 50th anniversary season with the running of the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio on Aug. 7.

Tickets for the fifth IZOD IndyCar Series race on the road course go on sale Nov. 22 and can be purchased by calling 800-MID-OHIO (643-6446) or visiting www.midohio.com. The first 50 orders are entered to win one of two $50 gift certificates or one of two $50 Sunoco gas cards.

VIP Race Passes grant fans access to all six spectator events as well as dozens of other weekends throughout the year and are priced at $199 each through Dec. 23. A special 50th Season of Racing commemorative gift pack comes with all VIP Race Passes and there is free shipping on all tickets through Feb. 28, 2011.

Dario Franchitti won the 2010 race on his way to claiming the IZOD IndyCar Series championship for the second consecutive year.
