47 Ford pickup sold for $800,000

This 1947 Ford 1/2 ton pickup truck was just sold to FORD MOTOR COMPANY of Detroit Michigan USA for the sum of $800,000.00 plus a brand new Ford F350 dually truck By Dave Hill from Whitby Ontario Canada. This truck was being restored by Dave and his father Len, who has since passed away. That made it hard for Dave to part with the truck since it was a joint effort with his father.

Dave and his father purchased this truck from a farmer, who was the ORIGINAL OWNER, who had ordered it equipped new, as it was in 1947.
