F1 delivers big TV ratings in 2010
One of the most exciting seasons in Formula One history proved to be a ratings success for free-to-air broadcasters in Europe’s five biggest television markets, according to analysis by SportBusiness Intelligence and Eurodata TV Worldwide.
In France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, a cumulative average television audience of 24.86 million viewers watched each race in 2010, a 15-per-cent increase on 2009 and the highest race average since 2006.
