Thermal Motorsports Track & Club Approved by County Planning Board
On April 20th the Riverside County Planning Commission gathered in La Quinta, CA, where the commission approved land-use modifications for the Thermal Motorsports project. The approval by the planning board leaves just one final approval needed to break ground – approval by the board of supervisors.
“We are elated that Thermal has received the county planning board approval" said Blake Miraglia, partner in Thermal Motorsports.
The Thermal project was approved without any objections being raised during the hearing. “I hope this will have a residual effect and attract projects that will generate jobs and help the region get ahead" said planning commission member, John Roth.
The hearing with the board of supervisors has not been scheduled yet but should take place within the next few weeks, which is when Thermal Motorsports hopes to receive the final approval needed to break ground on the track.
