Callcap and SAS International to sponsor Conor Daly in GP3
“We became aware of Conor two years ago at the British Grand Prix and we feel that his talents deserve some additional international support" said Eddie McElhenny, Founder, SAS International.
SAS International, over the past four decades, has evolved as the world leader in the design and manufacture of metal ceilings. As project demands have evolved SAS has diversified into associated disciplines; partitioning systems and doors, energy efficient cooling and heating room comfort solutions and internal architectural metalwork finishes such as bulkheads, column castings and spandrel panels.
Callcap, a Kansas based company, was founded in 2001 as the first call measurement company to provide real-time complete caller data and a recording of the call. The concept was to do peg count call tracking based on PBX and C program technology to allow customers to precisely gauge exactly how many calls each of their phone lines were receiving and consequently redirect their marketing dollars to the most profitable advertising ventures.
“We like Conor – we like what he stands for, how he behaves as the ultimate professional, how he performs on the race track and how he represents Callcap" said Sunny Smith, Founder, Callcap. “We believe that he is a star in the making and we want to be part of his support group as he makes a bold move to race in Europe this season". Callcap will appear on both sides of Daly’s GP3 car, on his helmet and his race suit.
Daly drives for The British based Carlin GP3 team and for Sam Schmidt Motorsports Indy Lights team. Daly is the reigning Road to Indy Formula Star Mazda champion. In 2011 he will compete in the European GP3 series (Formula One Support series) and a limited program in the Firestone Indy Lights championship. His dual programs are supported by Mazda, Modspace, Doug Mockett Companies, SAS International, Merchant Services LTD, Callcap and The College Network with additional support from Tom Lange Company, Alpinestars, Arai, Aspin Group and St. Vincent Sports Performance.
