Barcelona news tidbits

The weather forecast for this weekend's Spanish GP could not be any better – 73 degrees, sunny and 0% chance of rain all three days.

The FIA has made several small changes to the Circuit de Catalunya ahead of this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix, with one of the modifications being the size of stones in gravel traps.

The stones, which can no longer measure more than 15 millimeters in diameter, have been checked to avoid cars sustaining more damage than necessary when leaving the track.

Other changes for this year include new ‘sleeping policeman’ speed ramps on the inside of the chicane’s second run-off area and an extended barrier on the inside exiting Campsa corner.
