Centerplate Plans to Serve 55,000 Fans at the Baltimore Grand Prix

Centerplate, the leading hospitality provider to North America's premier events, is serving as hospitality host for The Baltimore Grand Prix September 2nd through 4th. Centerplate, at the Baltimore Convention Center, has been preparing for the event for several months and anticipates serving over 55,000 fans over the race weekend.

The inaugural Baltimore Grand Prix will encompass a 2-mile temporary street circuit traveling through the heart of Baltimore's Downtown, rushing past the scenic Inner Harbor and racing around the Baltimore Convention Center. The race weekend will feature a blend of world-class racing and entertainment, highlighted by the American Le Mans Series Race on Saturday and the IZOD IndyCar Series Race on Sunday.

For this special event, Centerplate has created tailored menus for the general attendees and associated private events alike. Racing fans will be greeted with a number of special tailored offerings to increase their enjoyment of the race. Notably, Centerplate has developed an expansive menu featuring traditional favorites and the authentic flavors of the Mid-Atlantic region including the Grand Prix Roll, which includes fresh, local crab and shrimp, created special for this weekend by Centerplate's culinary team.

"We are excited to play a role in this weekend's exciting racing events," said John Dooley, Centerplate's General Manager. "Our culinary and service teams are eager to provide an extraordinary experience for each and every one of our thousands of guests."
