Baltimore Grand Prix: Grandstand tickets sell out
The Grand Prix, with its festival-like atmosphere, concerts and races, is expected to draw near 120,000 people in all, Baltimore Grand Prix CEO Jay Davidson said Friday.
But for those without a ticket, there’s still a way to attend.
Davidson said there’s “close to an unlimited amount" of ground admission tickets left. Ground admission tickets range from $25 for a one-day pass on Friday to $65 for all three days. Tickets for kids 12 and under are $50 for a three-day pass.
Davidson said he was impressed by the turnout Friday, despite cloudy skies and a schedule that only includes practice runs.
“For a Friday morning, this is fantastic," Davidson said. “It’s going to be a great event."
Ground admission tickets are available at box offices at Charles and Pratt streets, and on Hamburg Street.
Meanwhile, some 550 VIP Balcony Club tickets — at $895 a piece — are sold out. More than 80 hospitality suites, ranging from $7,500 to $100,000, have also been sold. Baltimore Sun
