Two killed in Rallye Du Condroz
Two Spectators lost their lives in the Rallye Du Condroz when a Dutch Rally driver lost control of his car and hit a stone wall very hard. The impact was so severe that both Julie Herta(25), a cousin of a famous soccer player in Belgium, and Guy Hautot (65) were both killed by flying bricks from the stone wall. Patrick Snijers won the Rallye Du Condroz, but his fellow countryman Freddy Loix refused to compete any further in the event, as spectators were too close to the cars at some stages.
