Kenseth’s mother dies

Nicki Kenseth, the mother of 2003 NASCAR champion Matt Kenseth, died Tuesday in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin.

She was 63 and had suffered for years from early-onset Alzheimer's disease.

In addition to Matt, survivors include her husband, Roy; a daughter, Kelley; her mother, Audrey Loga Nassett; three brothers and a sister.

Services are set for 11 a.m. Friday at Willerup Methodist Church, 414 N. Water St., Cambridge, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 208 N. Park St., Cambridge. Here is a link to the obituary from the funeral home.
