TrackScan no longer allowed at ISC owned tracks

TrackScan customers received this letter:

We unfortunately must inform you, our loyal customers and friends, that Track Scan has been notified that we will not be granted access to support you at the International Speedway Corporation facilities during the 2013 Season.

Americrown Service Corporation, with the approval of International Speedway Corporation (ISC), has notified us of their decision to enter into an exclusive agreement with another scanner vendor. While they have enjoyed a successful working relationship with Track Scan, Americrown considered factors unique to their business and strategy, and believe this exclusive agreement to be in their best interests.

As a result of the Americrown/ISC decision, Track Scan will not be allowed to place our trackside vendor trailers at any of the ISC facilities and Track Scan's proprietary airwave programming equipment will not be transmitting frequency updates.

Track Scan is NOT out of business and is looking forward to seeing all of you at non-ISC events!

Let your voice be heard! You can assist us by providing your prompt feedback to help combat and resolve this issue. We have listened to you through the years and we know there are many reasons why you choose to do business with us. We continue to fight to be part of healthy competition and for your right to choose!

The Americrown/ISC decision to allow only one scanner vendor at the ISC facilities means you would no longer have an option in the company you choose for all of your scanner needs – rentals, purchases, accurate frequency lists, trackside service, repairs or support. We strongly believe the decision is a disservice to all of you who rely on us at the track and have made purchases through NASCAR.com or Track-Scan.com. Eliminating competition rarely improves the level of service or pricing for the consumer. However, Americrown/ISC has communicated to us that all customer's needs and expectations will be met.

For 20 consecutive seasons, we have built and managed our brand on the foundation of exceptional customer service. It is because of our customers and our commitment to improving their trackside experience that we worked three years developing the industry-changing 440 scanner operating platform including airwave programming. We launched our familiar black and yellow TSI440 scanner in February of 2006 and introduced the smaller, affordably-priced, Pocket Edge consumer version in February 2007. Despite the economic downturn, we continue research and development of new and innovative products.

You are a part of the Track Scan family and we look forward to serving you at the remaining NASCAR tracks and at IndyCar events.
