Atech Grand Prix becomes Bamboo Engineering

GP3 Series organizers are pleased to announce that Atech Grand Prix and Bamboo Engineering have joined forces and will compete in GP3 for the 2013-2015 seasons under the name of the Silverstone Technology Park-based team. Founded in 2009, Bamboo Engineering have competed in the prestigious World Touring Car Championship. The newly-named team will run their GP3/13 cars for the first time on February 20-22 for the first official pre-season testing of year.

GP3 Series CEO Bruno Michel said: “We are pleased to welcome Bamboo Engineering to GP3 Series. I believe they can form a very successful partnership with Atech Grand Prix who have been a key part of GP3 since the inaugural season. I am sure with their experience they will be able to be on pace very quickly."
