Carl Edwards in ESPN NASCAR Booth for Three Races
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Carl Edwards will return to the ESPN booth as an analyst for the next three races in the NASCAR Nationwide Series starting Friday night, April 12, at Texas Motor Speedway. Edwards, who called two races for ESPN last year, will join anchor Allen Bestwick and analyst Andy Petree for the 300-mile race in Fort Worth. NASCAR Countdown airs at 8 p.m. ET with the race’s green flag at 8:47 p.m. on ESPN2. Also from Texas on Friday, ESPN2 will televise qualifying at 5 p.m. NASCAR rookie and action sports star Travis Pastrana will be ESPN In-Race Reporter for the race.

ESPN2’s daily NASCAR news and information program NASCAR Now will preview the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Texas Motor Speedway in the one-hour edition airing Saturday, April 13, at 2 p.m. ET. Studio host Mike Massaro will be joined from the track by ESPN NASCAR analyst Ricky Craven and reporters Nicole Briscoe and Jim Noble. The week’s schedule:
