Rahal mad at Vautier, IndyCar
Graham Rahal locked his tires under braking in Turn 8 and plowed into the tire barrier, but with time running out in the second qualifying round, race control didn’t stop the action. Rahal thought it should have.
Stuck there for about 40 seconds, Rahal got hit from behind by rookie Tristan Vautier, who said he wasn’t aware of Rahal’s plight.
“It was just stupid, just stupid," Rahal said holding a bruised right wrist. “Where are the teams to radio (drivers)? Maybe I shouldn’t be surprised by Vautier; he doesn’t pay attention, we all know that by now.
“I’m just so disappointed that it stayed green. It’s just dangerous." Indy Star
