Russian F1 Grand Prix Attracts More Than 4 Million Viewers On RTL

German free-to-air TV channel RTL "attracted more than 4 million viewers to its broadcast of the Russian F1 Grand Prix on Sunday," according to Alexander Krei of DWDL. The race, which started shortly after 1pm, was watched by an average of 4.14 million viewers. The number translated into a market share of 29.3%. In the target demographic 14-49, the Russian GP, which was won by Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton, obtained a market share of 25.1%. German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland, which also aired the race, attracted 370,000 viewers to its coverage. In the target demographic, Sky's broadcast had a market share of 3.5%.
