USGP: Mercedes 1-2-3 in opening practice

2014 F1 points leader Lewis Hamilton led opening practice for the USGP at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
Hamilton's Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg was 2nd 0.292s back and ahead of another Mercedes powered car of Jenson Button.
Kvyat's Renault was 4th ahead of another Mercedes, the McLaren of Magnussen.
Fernando Alonso rounded out the top six, 1.124s off the pace, while Kimi Raikkonen was 12th quickest in the sister car.
Four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, who is set to start from the pitlane on Sunday set the seventh quickest time in his Red Bull-Renault.
Teammate Daniel Ricciardo ran into engine problems after 5 laps.
