GT racing is garnering serious interest from auto makers these days.

This Toronto Star article by Steph Wallcraft talks about how money is flowing into GT racing series these days. We've seen this in the Pirelli World Challenge, which has enjoyed momentum in recent years and we're likewise seeing this in the Tudor GLTM and GTD categories.

AutoRacing1 has also illustrated the point Steph made previously: more than ever need direct relevance between racing cars and road cars. Sanctioning bodies that understand this, and can best devise a formula that provides this direct relevance along with a compelling show for spectators will not only benefit their series, but the industry as a whole.
