Bottas quickest Sunday morning in Barcelona
Valtteri Bottas |
Williams' Valtteri Bottas led this morning's Formula 1 pre-season testing session at Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona. The Finn ran qualifying simulations on the Pirelli super-soft tires and managed to record a time four-tenths better than Sebastian Vettel of Scuderia Ferrari, and nearly a full second ahead of Sauber's Felipe Nasr.
It was another miserable session for McLaren Honda. In addition to lead driver Fernando Alonso's accident last weekend, the Woking team has been plagued by reliability issues during much of pre-season testing. Today, Jenson Button managed only two laps.
