Pocono Raceway, host of multiple, national motorsports events each year, and ABC Supply Co., Inc., one of the largest building products distributors in the United States, today announced the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series race at Pocono Raceway will be renamed the ABC Supply 500. The ABC Supply 500 race weekend at ‘The Tricky Triangle’ is scheduled for August 22nd-23rd.

"ABC Supply is a true industry leader and their love of racing couples our own," said Pocono Raceway President/CEO, Brandon Igdalsky. “They have been involved in motorsports for over 10 years now and we are thrilled to welcome them to our extended Raceway family. We cannot wait to work with them to promote the ABC Supply 500 this year."

"For a decade now, our racing program has brought thousands of our associates and customers together to celebrate and cheer for our team," said ABC Vice President of Operations, Mike Jost. “This year we are excited to have the chance to increase awareness of both ABC Racing and INDYCAR in general with our sponsorship of the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway."

ABC Supply Co., Inc. is also a partner of A.J. Foyt Racing and The Milwaukee Mile. The Wisconsin-based company is a sponsor of the No. 14 and No. 41 entries of INDYCAR drivers Takuma Sato and Jack Hawksworth, as well as the ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 Verizon IndyCar Series race on July 12th.

"It means a lot to me that ABC Supply is sponsoring the INDYCAR race at Pocono Raceway this year," said legendary driver and current team owner, A.J. Foyt. “ABC Supply has been a great sponsor for me and for INDYCAR for the past 10 years, so I’m glad to see them align themselves with Pocono. Pocono Raceway has always been one of my favorite tracks because I really enjoyed racing there. The owners, the late Doc Mattioli and his wife Dr. Rose, were and continue to be really good friends of mine. Their grandsons, Brandon and Nick, have done a great job following in their footsteps with all they have done at the track in recent years. I think the fans will see another fun and competitive Indy race there this year."

Tickets for the August 23rd ABC Supply 500 start at $25. Kids, ages 12 and under are eligible for half-price grandstand tickets starting at $12.50. For tickets and more information, visit www.poconoraceway.com or call 1-800-RACEWAY (1-800-722-3929).
