05/13/15 Shortly after 5:00 PM, Pippa Mann lost control of her car in Turn 4, smacking the inside wall before skidding into the foam barrier at the end of pit road. The crash was eerily similar to the 1991 Mark Dismore crash, but with the addition of SAFER walls and foam at the end of pit road the results were much less severe. Mann was able to get out under her own power, and was deemed fit to drive again, but the car was heavily damaged. Pippa is running a Dale Coyne one-off Indy entry. Pippa declined interview requests after being released, saying she simply wanted to go someplace and cry…..
