Chevys dominate Indy 500 Carb Day

If today's speeds during Carb Day for the 99th Indy 500 are any indication, Sunday is going to be a long day for the Honda teams. Will Power, lead driver for Penske Racing, drove his Chevy to a top speed of 229.020 MPH to lead the 1-hour practice session, which was the final chance for the drivers and teams to get their cars setup for race day.

Chevy drivers Scott Dixon, Tony Kanaan and Simon Pagenaud were 2nd thru 4th with the Takuma Sato in 5th – the fastest of the Honda drivers.

8 of the top-10 cars were Chevy powered.
