Coyne taps Gonzalez & Vautier for Detroit (update)

UPDATE Dale Coyne Racing crew member Daniel Jang was released from IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on May 27. Jang, who sustained an ankle injury during the Indianapolis 500, will recuperate at his home in Chicago

Dale Coyne Racing announced their driver lineup for this weekend's Chevrolet Belle Isle Grand Prix of Detroit Presented By Quicken Loans earlier today via Twitter.

Venezuelan Rodolfo Gonzalez, who drove for the team last month at Barber will pilot the #18 Dale Coyne Racing Honda, with Frenchman Tristan Vautier will be behind the wheel of the #19.

It will be the second career start for Verizon IndyCar Series start for Gonzalez, who finished 20th in his debut. Vautier, the 2013 Verizon IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year, drove for the team recently in the Indianapolis 500, finishing 28th.
