Jamie Little makes her MotoGP television hosting debut Sunday, Aug. 9, leading live FOX Sports 1 coverage of the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix, round 10 of the world’s premier motorcycle road racing circuit.

"Special, special place for me," Little said. “I was just thinking about it yesterday … how this will be my third major event at Indy. I'm thrilled!

"I have a lot of family in Indy, so my 3-year-old will travel with me," Little added. “I cannot wait to experience the intensity that is MotoGP at the most iconic and legendary race track in the world. Sitting in the host seat will be an honor, something I love doing, but don't have a chance to do often with my regular pit reporting duties."

Little, joined by Ralph Sheheen (play-by-play), 1993 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz (analysis) and Jenny Taft (pit reporter), has a long career of “firsts," serving as the first female pit reporter for a live network television broadcast of the prestigious Indianapolis 500 (2004), the first female to cover a televised Supercross and Motorcross event, and was one of the first female reporters in X Games history. Little has covered 11 Indianapolis 500s and eight Brickyard 400s and has hosted a variety of non-racing sporting events ranging from Paintball Championships to the Great Outdoor Games, in addition to live announcing roles in Motorcross and Supercross.

FOX Sports 1 coverage from Indianapolis begins Sunday, Aug. 9 (10 a.m. ET) with MotoGP qualifying, followed by Moto 3 (12 p.m. ET), Moto2 (1 p.m. ET) and MotoGP (2 p.m. ET). All of Sunday’s coverage also is available on FOX Sports GO, the critically acclaimed app that provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content at home or on the go, and in Canada and the Caribbean through FOX Sports Racing.

Multiple features are scheduled for Sunday, including a look at defending series champion Marc Marquez’s dominance in the U.S., where he has won all six MotoGP class races that he has competed in since his rookie year of 2013. Going back to Moto2, Marquez is eight for eight on American soil.

FOX Sports 1 also takes a look at 2006 World Champion Nicky Hayden, the lone American in MotoGP; and with 36-year-old icon Valentino Rossi sitting atop the point standings, FOX Sports 1 breaks down similarities and differences in generational riding styles.
