Daytona Rising Update: Installation Of Grandstand Seats Complete

The last of 101,500 new grandstand seats at Daytona Int'l Speedway was installed yesterday by ISC Chair Jim France and longtime DIS ticket holder Ted Swartzlander.

The ceremony concluded the latest phase of the Daytona Rising project, which was begun in July '13.

DIS Senior Dir of Ticketing Kari Gritton said that there has been a "high retention" rate, with a "big response from those who had backstretch grandstand seats, which are now gone." Daytona Beach NEWS-JOURNAL
