Stoner to join official Sepang test

The first official test of 2016 MotoGP season will start tomorrow at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit where Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa are looking forward to getting back in action on their Repsol Honda RC213V after two months of test ban.

Waiting for them in the Repsol Honda Team garage there are two bikes equipped with two different engine specs: the one they used in the last test at Jerez and an evolution spec.

Casey Stoner will go up against the full MotoGP field in official pre-season testing for the first time since his retirement at the end of 2012.

Ducati has decided to run Stoner on one of the three days of official testing rather than running him in today's private session as originally planned.
