Mahindra Racing Seeks Fans’ Help To Design Formula E Track In Delhi

Mahindra Racing "asked fans to design the Indian Formula E track in Delhi, following its successful showrun in the country earlier this month," according to Darshan Chokhani of MOTORSPORT.

The Indian Formula E squad revealed that it has received a "letter of intent" from the Indian Government which pledges the support for an ePrix in the city of Delhi from the officials.

Following this, the team "has opened up a contest for the fans to design the circuit." Team Principal Dilbagh Gill "explained the requirements."

He said, "We are looking for a track of approximately two to three kilometers long, with eight to 12 turns and space for a pit lane and our garages. We are inviting fans to comment on Facebook and Twitter with their ideas. It can be a sketch, a map, a photo or simply a piece of writing but we want to accelerate this project and get the race to India." Motorsport
