The No. 1 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevy to Feature Special Bass Pro Shops Design
Noted conservationist and Bass Pro Shops founder, Johnny Morris, announced to an enthusiastic crowd of fellow conservationists earlier this year, at the annual NWTF Convention and Sports Show, that he would pay special recognition to the NWTF by way of offering the paint scheme for this year’s Sprint All-Star race as a way to acknowledge the members and volunteers that make up the NWTF.
McMurray who captured his first career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) victory at CMS, will make his 10th start in the Sprint All-Star Race. This will also be the sixth time that McMurray as piloted the No. 1 Chevy SS with the Bass Pro Shops and NWTF branding during the Sprint All-Star Race weekend festivities.

Johnny Morris, Bass Pro Shops Founder/CEO:
"We are very proud to partner with our good friends at Chip Ganassi Racing in this tribute to the NWTF to recognize their work in conservation and education. Bass Pro Shops is delighted to donate this space to one of our great national conservation partners and their thousands of grassroots volunteers who are also NASCAR fans."
Jamie McMurray, Driver No. 1 Bass Pro Shops/NWTF Chevrolet SS:
“This is a weekend of racing that I think we all look forward to. Not only are we at home for two weeks, but The All-Star race is fun because it is an all-out race just for the $1 million check. It’s usually pretty wild with no points on the line. I look forward to having Bass Pro Shops and the National Wild Turkey Federation on the car again. This paint scheme always draws a lot of attention and we have been lucky enough to win in 2014 with both Bass Pro Shops and the NWTF".
