Andretti Autosport announced Technicolor, the Entertainment Technology company, will be an associate sponsor of the No. 98 car piloted by Alexander Rossi for Sunday’s 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
Technicolor’s logo will adorn the No. 98 Andretti Autosport Dallara/Honda at the Indy 500. This is the first time Technicolor, with major US operations in Hollywood, Indianapolis and Atlanta, will be associated with Andretti Autosport.
"We’re very pleased to have Technicolor join the team as we expand our operations with the No. 98 entry," said Andretti Autosport CEO, Michael Andretti. “Technicolor is a great addition to our current No. 98 sponsors, NAPA Auto Parts, Castrol Edge and Curb. The company has a well-earned reputation in the media and entertainment industries for providing highly competitive, best-in-class, theater, home and mobile digital solutions, very similar in nature to the reputation Andretti Autosport has in the world of Indy car racing today. I’d like to thank everyone at Technicolor for their support and look forward to seeing the No. 98 car on the track at the Indy 500."

"Technicolor and Andretti Autosport share a passionate interest in high performance. Technicolor has a 100-year history of bringing world-class entertainment experiences by harnessing creative talent and innovative technologies. Just as it takes a state-of-the art vehicle that has an outstanding driver at the wheel to achieve success in Indy races, a creative technology company like Technicolor must bring together artists, scientists and technologists across the industry to meet the immersive entertainment expectations of audiences around the world," stated Doug Bresnahan, chief marketing officer of Andretti Autosport.
