Travel advisory around Michigan International Speedway for NASCAR race

Please be aware that the Michigan Department of Transportation has scheduled construction on US 12 in Saline this summer. Saline is located at west of US 23 along US 12. MDOT is suspending construction during the race, but please plan for delays through the area. In certain areas traffic is down to one lane in the area and there are minor detours through town.

Please review the attached map to seek alternative routes. If you are coming from the airport or the Ann Arbor we suggest you take I-94 to M52 through Manchester to US 12. Or you can take I-94 all the way to US 127 to come south. Both routes will bring you to the track. This will allow you to bypass the construction.
