Stewart buys Bryan Clauson’s helmet at auction

Throughout recent years, Tony Stewart has gone through some pretty intense ups and downs.
However, from NASCAR and IndyCar insiders, one narrative has remained true: Tony Stewart is a pretty good guy.
On Friday, Stewart lived up to that reputation. According to a story from Foxsports.com, Stewart bought a helmet for $32,000 that belonged to Bryan Clauson, who was killed last week in a Sprint Car wreck in Kansas, at a charity auction to raise money for Clauson's family.
Stewart then gave the helmet, said to be one of Clauson's favorites, to Clauson's fiance, Lauren.
Say what you will about Stewart, but that was a pretty classy thing to do. AutoWeek
