Tickets Go On Sale Monday for 2017 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. – Next April, the Roar by the Shore is back! Tickets for the 43rd Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, April 7-9, go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. PT.

Featuring a wide variety of on- and off-track activities for the entire family, the Grand Prix will be headlined by the second round of the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series, expected to include celebrated drivers such as defending series champion and 2016 Long Beach winner Simon Pagenaud along with such past Long Beach winners as Helio Castroneves, Scott Dixon, Juan Pablo Montoya, Will Power and Ryan Hunter-Reay, as well as Marco Andretti and Graham Rahal driving wheel-to-wheel on the famed 1.97-mile, 11-turn circuit through downtown Long Beach.

In addition to the Indy cars, the 2017 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will also present the exciting IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, featuring all-new prototype cars; the Motegi Racing Super Drift Challenge under the lights on Friday and Saturday nights; SPEED Energy Off-Road Series featuring Robby Gordon's jumping super trucks, and the powerful sports cars of the Pirelli World Challenge. One additional race event will be announced at a later date.

"It's going to be another exciting year of entertainment for the whole family at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach," said Jim Michaelian, president and CEO of the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach. "With America's #1 street race and all that the City of Long Beach has to offer, the Grand Prix is the best family entertainment value in Southern California."

The event's family entertainment menu also includes free Friday and Saturday night concerts and the Lifestyle Expo featuring a huge Family Fun Zone with racing simulators, kids' racing cars, computer games and action sports. Add to that multiple driver autograph sessions, special events and exhibits highlighting the Grand Prix's history, the popular Food Truck Experience and Sunday's Mothers Exotic Car Paddock, it's a weekend that will be packed full of activity.

Ticket prices for the three-day event range from $30 for a Friday General Admission ticket to $142 for a three-day ticket that includes Saturday and Sunday reserved seating in grandstand upper levels. Pre-paid parking packages are also available, along with handicapped seating, Verizon IndyCar Series Paddock access passes, Super Photo tickets and an array of VIP Club packages.

Beginning at 10 a.m. PT on Monday, fans can select and pay for their 2017 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach seats, parking and paddock passes online at gplb.com. Ticket orders can also be placed by calling the toll-free ticket hotline, (888) 827-7333. A printed ticket brochure that includes a circuit map, ticket prices, order form and other information is also available.
