Dover Int’l Speedway Extending SAFER Barrier For ’17 NASCAR Races

Dover Int'l Speedway officials today announced that the track "will extend its SAFER barriers across the frontstretch and backstretch" for the '17 NASCAR season.

The project will get underway in March and "will be completed before the NASCAR tripleheader weekend" June 2-4. About 1,800 feet of barriers will be added, putting the "SAFER barrier around the entirety of the outside track walls." FOXSPORTS.com
