Race fans and music lovers will come together again this summer to celebrate three weekends of world-class entertainment at Iowa Speedway. The NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series returns for the third consecutive year, featuring three dynamic acts complementing eight thrilling races. As in seasons past, each installment of the NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series will take place at the Pork Party Pavilion following the conclusion of the first race of each race weekend.
"We take pride in offering a compelling product, and we want fans to enjoy a full weekend at the track, which involves much more than racing," said Iowa Speedway President Jimmy Small. "The return of the NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series keeps the energy high between events and lets fans cut loose."
The 2017 NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series kicks off on Friday, June 23, following the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Iowa 200. When the trucks are no longer “All Over the Road," Iowa Speedway fans will get to show that they’re "A Little More Country Than That", as country music star, Easton Corbin, takes center stage.
The second weekend is sure to be “Wonderful" when grunge-punk and platinum-selling trio, Everclear, performs at the conclusion of the ARCA Racing Series Iowa 150 on Saturday, July 8. Be sure to catch the race on Sunday, when the IndyCar Series returns to the Fastest Short Track on the Planet, for the 11th running of the Iowa Corn 300.
The NAPA Auto Parts Concert Series will close out in style on Friday, July 28, with Grand Funk Railroad. Known as “The American Band," the high-energy five-piece group will perform following the NASCAR K&N Pro Series Casey’s General Stores 150 presented by Vatterott College.
Anchoring the 2017 season is the NASCAR XFINITY Series U.S. Cellular 250 on July 29. After the roar of the engines has subsided, Iowa Speedway will host its fourth annual Post-Race Party on the Frontstretch. A tradition born in Newton, opening the catchfence for fans to party on the still-warm-track-surface, has become universally cherished by all involved.
Season, Weekend and Individual Event tickets are on sale. Current season ticket holders have the opportunity to renew their existing tickets until March 3, 2017. Payment plans are available and offer great flexibility to fans who want to pay over time. Be sure to catch all the on and off-track excitement and join us in 2017!
