British GP could move to Donington

The British GP could move to Donington if Silverstone owners, the British Racing Drivers’ Club. cannot agree to terms with the group seeking to promote the race, Brand Synergy. Further talks are planned but Brand Synergy managing director Kim Cockburn said the company had backup plans in case negotiations stall. "We are continuing our negotiations with the BRDC but we have the funding in place to go ahead at Donington Park if need be. "Wherever the race is, we will have to build a new pits and paddock complex so it does not make any difference whether it is at Donington or Silverstone, but obviously Silverstone would be our choice."
