Germans eye ALMS,LMES

UPDATE We are upgrading this rumor to 'fact' today. Motorsport News reports today that Porsche will enter a works LMP2 car at Petit LeMans this year and also make a privateer package available. Porsche also has given the green light in the boardroom for a new works LMP1 in 2006. 02/04/05 At least one, possibly two German LMP entries are rumored to be eying the ALMS series for 2005. Announcements could come any day.
