Sportscar veteran Stephane Sarrazin will replace Esteban Gutierrez at the Techeetah Formula E team for the remainder of the 2016-17 season now that IndyCar team owner Dale Coyne decided to run Gutierrez in his No. 18 Honda until primary driver Sebastien Bourdais recovers from his Indianapolis 500 injuries. That deal was brokered by former CART driver and Gutierrez manager Adrian Fernandez.

Techeetah stole Sarrazin from the Venturi Grand Prix Formula E team and Sarrazin will be replaced by Formula V8 3.5 champion Tom Dillman, who competed for the team in Paris last month for Maro Engel, who was occupied with DTM duties.
