DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Kyle Busch has lost another Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series crew chief.

As expected, interim crew chief Ben Beshore was suspended for one race by NASCAR on Wednesday for a lug nut infraction at Sonoma Raceway. Two lug nuts were not properly secured after the race. Beshore also was fined $20,000.

Joe Gibbs Racing named another team engineer – Jacob Canter – to serve as crew chief this weekend.

Stevens' final race on suspension is Saturday's race at Daytona. He was penalized because of an errant wheel during the June 4 race at Dover (Del.) Int'l Speedway.

Busch has turned in three consecutive top-10 finishes under Beshore's direction.

As well, Danny Stockman Jr., crew chief for the Richard Childress Racing No. 21 XFINITY Series team, was fined $5,000 because of a lug nut violation discovered Saturday at Iowa Speedway on the car wheeled by Daniel Hemric.
