Final Weekend TV Ratings (Update)

UPDATE NASCAR races from Kentucky on July 6 and 8 saw declines. The Xfinity race Alsco 300 on NBCSN, originally scheduled for July 7 but rain delayed it to July 8, attracted 975,000 viewers, down 2 percent from last year (July 8, 2016: 995,000 viewers) and down 11 percent from two years ago (July 10, 2015: 1.094 million). The Monster Cup Series race Quaker State 400 on NBCSN (2.71 million viewers) was down 15 percent from last year (July 9, 2016: 3.192 million viewers). It dipped to its lowest TV audience in this race’s history.

The Camping World Truck race Buckle Up in Your Truck 225 on FS1 July 6 (439,000 viewers) was delayed by rain for three hours and began near 11 p.m. eastern. It was down 26 percent from last year (July 7, 2016: 596,000 viewers) and down 6 percent from two years ago when it was known as the UNOH 225 (July 9, 2015: 468,000 viewers).

IndyCar Series: Iowa Corn 300 on NBCSN July 9 — won by former “Dancing with the Stars" champion Helio Castroneves — exactly matched its viewership from last year’s Iowa race (534,000 viewers) but gained 14 percent in adults 18-49 (120,000 vs. 105,000). It was also down 1 percent from two years ago (July 18, 2015: 541,000 viewers).
