God (IMSA) has given the Porsche 911 RSR a performance boost. All manufacturers have to be given a chance to win 1 or more races each year

The Nissan Onroak DPi has been slowed ahead of this weekend’s America’s Tire 250 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, in the first Balance of Performance adjustment for the Prototype class in more than three months.

Meanwhile, a power increase has been handed to the GT Le Mans class Porsche 911 RSR.

The pair of Tequila Patron ESM entries have been hit with a turbo boost reduction, across 6000-7600 RPM levels, and a subsequent 1-liter reduction in fuel capacity, following the car’s breakthrough win at Road America last month.

The cars will also face an increase in maximum rear wing angle, from 14.8 to 16.8 degrees, with an increase rear wing angle flap as well.

Aero changes have also been made to the Cadillac DPi-V.R, which sees its rear wing angle further reduced from 14 to 12 degrees, and the rear wing angle flap increased.

The Cadillac’s refueling restrictor, meanwhile, has been reduced by 1 mm.

BoP changes have also been made to the production-based ranks, with the GTLM class Porsche getting a 0.6 mm larger air restrictor following recent struggles for power at Road America and Virginia International Raceway.

The CORE autosport-run entries will receive a 1-liter increase in fuel capacity and 0.5 mm larger refueling restrictor as a result of the power change.

Refueling restrictor changes have also been made to the BMW M6 GTLM (-1 mm) and Corvette C7.R (+0.5 mm), as well as GT Daytona class entries from Audi (+1 mm) and Acura (+0.5 mm)

The BMW M6 GT3 gets a 6-liter fuel capacity reduction and 7-liter increase for the Lexus RC F GT3.

The two-hour and 40-minute race is scheduled for Sunday, as the penultimate IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race of the season. Sportscar365
