Charlotte to get rain this weekend

Unfortunately, rain is a major player in the weekend forecast for Charlotte Motor Speedway, with the highest chance of rain predicted for Sunday — 66 percent. Little to no rain is in the forecast for Friday, but both Saturday and Sunday race days are at least somewhat expected to be wet. Saturday’s forecast calls for a 56 percent chance of rain, dropping to 41 percent Saturday night. The possibility of rain Sunday night stands at 60 percent.

Meanwhile, Friday is expected to be the warmest day with a daytime high temperature of 83 degrees. Daytime highs in the high-70s are predicted for Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows this weekend are expected to hover around the upper-60s and low-70s.
