Hill may try DTM racer

(GMMf1NET) According to a rumor, 1996 world champion Damon Hill could test a DTM car at Brands Hatch.

His former rivals, like Jean Alesi, Mika Hakkinen and ex-Jordan teammate Heinz-Harald Frentzen, are all regulars in the German tin-top series. It is suggested that Hill, 45, will attend the upcoming DTM test in England.

To the German 'sid' news agency, he ruled out making a race return.

''Not at my age,'' Briton Hill smiled, ''but I would gladly have a quick drive if I had a chance.''
