Toro Rosso engine deal expected soon
Jean Todt says a decision will be made 'soon' about Red Bull's request to transfer its Ferrari engine deal for 2007 to secondary team Toro Rosso.
It was speculated at Sao Paulo that, despite earlier suggestions to the contrary, the energy drink company had succeeded in convincing Ferrari to allow the switch. Boss Todt's expected generosity is probably the result of Red Bull's agreement to extend the Toro Rosso-Ferrari deal for several years.
Red Bull has already penned a Renault engine deal for 2007.
Ferrari's Todt said on Sunday: "We are talking about possible changes (to the Red Bull deal). "We will let you know shortly." F1 Editorial
