Will Champ Car fill the gap?

UPDATE Looking at the last half of the 2007 Champ Car schedule below, we now hear that Champ Car is considering moving the Road America race from a doubleheader with ALMS in August, to a standalone race on the same weekend it was this year, which would fill that huge gap in September-October we pointed out below. This of course would make sense because the doubleheader with ALMS in August is almost sure to be a money loser. Why do you ask? Because the doubleheader won't draw enough "additional" fans to pay for two top-level race purses.

11/02/06 If AutoRacing1.com sources are correct, the two yet to be confirmed European races on Champ Car's 2007 schedule will be moved up to September 2nd and 9th as shown below. This creates a huge gap between the 2nd European race and the Surfers Paradise round. Will Champ Car fill that gap with yet another event?
